Faithful to the end!

I've always wanted a personal plate and now I got 1! It cost a bit more a year, $30 but the plate has a dual meaning. It says I'm a Phoenix native, and it says which team I cheer for! It's too bad that things didn't work again this year and we had to yet again deal with the San Antonio Spurs but, there is always next year.....

Surprise under the paint?

We started to scrape the ceilings and we noticed that the paint started to peel back

and we were like huhh? We looked closer and realized that a wall paper runner all the

way around the room instead of being removed prior to being paint

was simply painted over! Stupid people. You can see the ugly color that the room was originally painted. Now we have to completely repaint the whole room......

Finished ceiling after a few days of scraping, pasting, sanding, and painting. We still need to put the fan back up but that is not something I'm looking forward to.

The mess in the living room. It took several days of very tiring work to finish both sides of the room.

Our condo has been slowly under remolding. We've been getting rid of the cottage cheese/popcorn junk off our whole 1100 Sq Ft place. It's such a pain, not to mention a headache, but it looks so great when it's done....I'll post photos of the finished ceilings in a day or 2.

Sophie's Birthday July 31st

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPHIE! Sophie gets a new toy. It plays 15 songs and makes lots of noise!

We are going to have some friends over on Sunday to have home made flatbread pizza (recipe on my blog) and some cake. She's only 1 so she won't remember anyway.
